The Austral Monsoon Group is proud to be part of Australia’s business history. Its business roots go back to 1923 and during its years of operation have become a market leader as a manufacturer of building products for commercial and industrial use through innovative design and proven product excellence.
Although it began as a roller shutter manufacturer, the Group has expanded its activities and product offerings to the point where it is now more accurate to regard it as a manufacturer of building and vehicle products. The Group now comprises of 18 companies and operates in Australia, United States and England.

The overseas operations of the Austral Monsoon Group commenced in 1996 when the group acquired Diamond Roll Up Door, located in Upper Sandusky, Ohio.
The North American operations of the group have grown substantially since that time with the company offering a greater selection of roll up door products and expanding into other markets within the industry. In 2004 the group acquired the Dover Roller Shutters business in Manchester, England.
In 2005 the Vanguard Shutters business was also acquired. Dover is the originator of the aluminum roll up door for emergency vehicles and has exposure and awareness in almost every corner of the world. The synergies between the Dover Vanguard and Diamond business are considerable and both businesses continue to grow and evolve within the Austral Monsoon Group.
