Application:

Dover Vanguards Stainless Steel Roller Shutter is frequently used in the North Sea applications for the oil industry and has been used extensively in parts of Europe for a more high quality effect in architectural applications. It has also been used to enclose fire equipment inside car tunnels in Asia.

The Stainless Steel Roller Shutter, perhaps more than any other door has a diverse range of applications. The shutter has very good corrosion and oxidation resistance and is Flat roll formed stainless steel lath. The tracks are made of Stainless Steel which makes them long lasting and reliable. Laths are kept in place usng Nylon End Clips to every lath. There are various bottom rail options as well as different locking options.

Features:

  • Curtain - The curtain is manufactured from Roll Formed Stainless Steel material BS430 in which the composition is Stainless Steel,Carbon: 0.12max, Chromium: 16-18, Iron: Balance, Manganese: 1ma.
     
  • Corrosion resistance - Resistance to fresh water and mild atmosphereic corrodants. Ideally suited to exterior applications except in extreme coastal environments where salt water and air will cause corrosion.
     
  • Lath size - 50mm Pitch.
  • Finish Options - Stainless Steel.
  • Operation - Rolling, sliding or roof shutters.
  • Seals - Optional seal can be fitted to the Bottom Rail. Side seals and header seals optional.

  • Lock Options - 2 Way 2 Point Key Lock (Traverse Lock), Stainless Steel Lift Bar, L Hnadle or T-Handle
  • Brackets - Fixed brackets as standard ( other options available)
  • Guide Trackes - Available in Stainless Steel or Extruded Aluminium
