Intersec Dubai 2014 – Show Report

From its concept, 16 years ago, Intersec Middle East has grown to become the largest security show of its kind in the Middle East and North Africa. Featuring over 1,200 exhibitors from a total of 54 countries, the show welcomed 22,000 visitors through the doors of the International Conference Centre, in the heart of the financial district of Dubai, over the three days.

“This was the first time we had attended the show and from previous research of the companies who were listed as exhibiting, we had a strong indication that we expected this to be the cream of the emergency vehicle manufactures. This soon proved to be the case with the likes of NAFFCO and Bristol VM from the UEA holding large stands set as focal points across the 3 halls, these were joined by Gimaex from France, REDA from Saudi Arabia, New Age from India and WH Bence from the United Kingdom.” said Garry Cannon, Senior Sales Executive for Dover Vanguard.

“Intersec Middle East was, in terms of marketing the Dover Vanguard brand into new markets, a great success. The ability to converse directly with these large companies, who are out manufacturing the United Kingdom equivalents and being invited by them to discuss the many varied products that we can supply has helped to strengthen the brand on a world stage.” said Stewart Plant, Marketing Manager for Dover Vanguard.
